The art of not wasting time

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, 2004)
We want to constantly remember Krishna, but the environment is not always supportive. Sometimes we have to really internally internalize it. So for a devotee every opportunity is there to openly remember Krishna; and openly glorifying Krishna; openly meditating on Krishna as much as possible, and this is the art of not wasting time…when every opportunity is there….we fill it with our next glorification in hearing, chanting and remembering of Krishna. When we do that, then it just continues even when we walk in the middle of all that ignorance and passion that we're facing.

Just because our consciousness continues to work, then we are not affected, and then we can be Krishna Conscious even in these unfavourable circumstances. One must always think of how to make it Krishna Consciousness!

Every devotee can give blessings

(Kadamba Kanana Swami, Stockholm, June 2011)

When you see a devotee, you have to think that Krsna is standing behind that devotee and that Krsna is smiling.  We don't just look at the devotee, but we look at Krsna who says, "Oh, how nice! This devotee has done so much service for me!"
And He is standing and looking at this devotee and smiling.

Therefore every devotee can give blessings, because, when a devotee says something, Krsna will keep the word of that devotee.
