These two brothers, are like one body

"These two brothers, are like one body; They are identical manifestations. If you do not believe in Lord Nityānanda, you will fall down.

If you have faith in one but disrespect the other, your logic is like the logic of accepting half a hen.

It would be better to be an atheist by slighting both brothers than a hypocrite by believing in one and slighting the other."

Lotus feet of the Lord, which are accepted is the most suitable boat crossing the ocean of nescience

"One who has taken shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord, which are accepted as the most suitable boat for crossing the ocean of nescience, can achieve liberation as easily as one leaps over the holes made by the hoofs of a calf. Such persons are meant to reside in the abode of the Lord, and they have nothing to do with a place where there is danger in every step."

TRANSLATION
1) Sometimes in great happiness Lord Jagannatha makes a loud concert with His flute in the groves on the banks of the Yamuna. He is like a bumblebee tasting the beautiful lotus like faces of the cowherd damsels of Vraja, and great personalities such as Laksmi, Siva, Brahma, Indra, and Ganesa worship His lotus feet. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.
2) In His left hand Lord Jagannatha holds a flute, on His head He wears peacock feathers, and on His hips He wears fine yellow silken cloth. From the corners of His eyes He bestows sidelong glances upon His loving devotees, and He always reveals Himself through His pastimes in His divine abode of Vrndavana. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.
3) On the shore of the great ocean, within a large palace atop the brilliant, golden Nilacala Hill, Lord Jagannatha resides with His powerful brother Balabhadra and His sister Subhadra, who sits between Them. May that Jagannatha Svami, who bestows the opportunity for devotional service upon all godly souls, be the object of my vision.
4) Lord Jagannatha is an ocean of mercy and as beautiful as a row of blackish rain clouds. He is the storehouse of bliss for Laksmi and Sarasvati, and His face resembles a spotless full-blown lotus. The best of demigods and sages worship Him, and the Upanisads sing His glories. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.
5) When Lord Jagannatha moves along the road on His Rathayatra car, at every step large assemblies of brahmanas loudly chant prayers and sing songs for His pleasure. Hearing their hymns, Lord Jagannatha becomes very favorably disposed toward them. He is the ocean of mercy and the true friend of all the worlds. May that Jagannatha Svami, along with His consort Laksmi, who was born from the ocean of nectar, be the object of my vision.
6) Lord Jagannatha, whose eyes resemble full-blown lotus petals, is the ornament on Lord Brahma's head. He resides on Nilacala Hill with His lotus feet placed on the heads of Anantadeva. Overwhelmed by the mellows of love, He joyfully embraces Srimati Radharani's body, which is like a cool pond. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.
7) I do not pray for a kingdom nor do I pray for gold, rubies, or wealth. I do not ask for a beautiful wife as desired by all men. I simply pray that Jagannatha Svami, whose glories Lord Siva always sings, may be the constant object of my vision.
8) O Lord of the demigods, please quickly remove this useless material existence I am undergoing. O Lord of the Yadus, please destroy this vast, shoreless ocean of sins. Alas, this is certain Lord Jagannatha bestows His lotus feet upon those who feel themselves fallen and have no shelter in this world but Him. May that Jagannatha Svami be the object of my vision.
9) The self-retrained, virtuous soul who recites these eight verses glorifying Lord Jagannatha becomes cleansed of all sins and duly proceeds to Lord Visnu's abode.

Lord BalaRam Appearance day Maha Utsav!

It's customary for newly wedded wives to get back home at this time
when the summer goes off and at the onset of rainy season. Also women
does nt go alone without men with them. Today it's other way
around, that men does nt go alone but women does... lol ;)
And ShriRadhe, the Queen of Vraja was also eager to get back home and
see the dark complexioned One. But her in-law Jatila was not willing
to send her back home. She insisted there were lot of house hold work
to do and will not send Sri Radha. Shri Radhe waits for 1,2...3days
but no one(male member of the family) came to pick her back home.
Somehow the message reaches her father Vrishabanu.

And he sends Sri Dham to get Shri Radhe back home. It's customary to
send food items to the bride-groom's house when getting the bride back
home. So Jatila was pleased by providing the food items. But Jatila
warned Shri Radhe not to mingle with that dark complexioned One.

Shri Radhe when back home was in the garden swinging with other gopis.
Swinging is also very common during this time as it brings so much
breeze when going back and forth at this sultry season.
This news somehow reaches Krishna and He having adorned Himself like a
Gopi, in guise of a girl, comes to the Garden where Shri Radhe is
swinging.
He pushes the swing so heavily that Shri Radhe went extremely high as
the ropes are so lengthy unlike our swings here. And She gets
frightened and out of fear she hugs the gopi next to her who is none
other than the dark complexioned One.
This way Krishna likes to hug Shri Radhe most of the times but Shri
Radhe somehow manages to escape due to the customs.
This pastime happens in the whole of Vrindavan dham all the time
everyday and the other gopis take pleasure in serving the divine
couple in Their intimate pastimes. This day, the appearance day of
Lord Balaram marks the end of the jhulan pastimes of divine couple Sri
Radha Krishna. The Lordships are very happy to see us pulling Them in
Their swing. Most people think that Rama in the Hare Krishna mantra
means Lord Ramachandra but He is Lord BalaRam. Krishna is so stubborn
and hard like Himalayan mountain. He can never be shaken but Shri
Radhe by Her Love breaks Him like anything. It's the mysticism of the
Bhakti tradition that we can even shake the One who is shaking all of
us by our Devotional Service of swinging Them. I feel so hard and
unqualified to pull Them as there's so much contamination in the heart
that I could not afford to invite Them to reside in my heart. Pulling
Them also means that we are trying to pull Them to our heart. How can
They come into a dirty place such as my heart which is full of lust,
greed, pride, anger, envy, madness???
-Excerpt from Lecture on appearance day of Lord Balaram by HG.Sumithra
Krishna Prabhu + my own feelings in the end.
