TRANSLATION

Refrain: Oh, why does my heart not weep from chanting the holy names Hare Krsna?

1) The bird of my heart does not know what past sinful activities in has committed to cause this inability to chant Hare Krsna properly.

2) O forest bird! I have kept something for you very carefully within the cottage of my heart – the holy name of Hari, which is overflowing with pure sweet honey. O bird, you could learn the chanting of this name if you were taught.

3) A bird is easily able to speak all names; why then does this bird of my heart refuse to chant HareKrsna? Oh, why does my heart not weep from chanting the holy names Hare Krsna?

4) O bird! Come, let us go to the spiritual world, the land of true and everlasting beauty. It is the place where the imaginary man of my mind will never again come and go on the revolving cycle of birth and death.

5) O bird! At the time of death, your body will simply be placed upon a funeral stretcher, lifted on the shoulders of four persons and carried to the cremation grounds.

6) Alas! The cremation fire will enter your mouth and then totally consume your tongue. There will be nothing you can do to save yourself, for at that time it is too late – you will be unable to speak anymore.

Which is your comfortable position?

When there's heat we need cold. When there' cold we new heat. Someone was complaining about rain, There was one woman in railway station commenting what do you want? When it is raining you say why it is raining when it is sunny you say why it is so sunny? What is that you want???

We can't be comfortable in one position in this world. It is the nature of this material world. We lie on one side while sleeping but can't remain in the same position through out the night. We need to turn to other sides because it aches to lie on the same side. No one position in this world is comfortable.

Similarly when we are in male bodies there will be hankering for female bodies and when in female the other way around. We have been trying to change the situations around us in many different ways to experience some taste. But in vain all the time since we looked into the matter and identified it to be the self as body (dehatmi-soul who mistakes the self to be the body)

This Misidentified misdirected civilization ends nowhere. But there's higher truth, and there's an art for civilization and transcendence. There was a wild forest fire in the US of late forcing more than 32000 people to evacuate. All 1000s of firemen of the whole nation of the US were there to put off. But nothing worked. The govt official in a press statement says, if he has the authority to call upon rain he would do so in a minute. We have no control over material nature but God has. Our position is we are controlled in every way but we are trying to exploit the mother nature and she is kicking the conditioned souls who are defying the authority of God.

In conclusion our position is precarious, like there is fire alarms here very common in the US in buildings. If the alarms bang, we got to leave everything aside and run out to save the self no matter what things you have inside the place you are.

When we act according to our constitutional position of serving God by propagating His words, teachings, His glories we will revive the comfort zone that soothes the soul to swim in the ocean of ecstasy.Otherwise it is like Fish on the sand!
