'The Sri Caitanya Caritamrta fills our mind with wonder about the amazing qualities, pastimes and mercy of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and pushes aside – all the nasty thoughts of mundane entanglement to the background of our consciousness'.

So, at this stage we may not be able to be fully free from thoughts of maya – from some attraction of sinful activity. These things are still manifesting itself in our consciousness, but by simply pouring a lot of nectar in the consciousness all of the time, then the force of that nectar just pushes away all these sinful and nasty things to somewhere over the horizon of our consciousness, and maybe one day, it will fall off, just like the flat earth. It will just get rid of these impurities – one day they will just dissolve!

Now these nasty thoughts may appear like little clouds on the horizon. So this is how we fill our mind – always with remembering the pastimes and the descriptions of the Supreme Lord, and we just remain in this mood of remaining full – keep on drinking it in!
